I have also installed the BCM file (which was missing): Bluetooth: hci0: BCM20702A Bluetooth: hci0: Broadcom Bluetooth Device I've repeatedly restarted the bluetooth service (even with -d enabled).įor what it's worth, I'm using a Broadcom wireless card: usb 1-1.4: Manufacturer: Broadcom Corp I've attempted a number of times to remove/pair/connect the mouse using bluetoothctl to no avail. To my knowledge, I am using the latest stable bluez package ( 5.50). Looking at /var/log/syslog, it appears the root cause is the HID connection: bluetoothd: connect error: Host is down (112) I have recently moved from 18.04 to 19.04 and started having problems with my Insignia Bluetooth mouse maintaining its connection.
